Training
FOR YOUR HORSE: Training at Quarterfield Stables is $800/month in addition to board (paid separately). Motivational reward-based training is the foundation for teaching a horse to work willingly and relaxed under saddle and on the ground. With natural horsemanship techniques and dressage training, your horse will learn how to be balanced in their gaits and transitions, be supple on circles and turns and regulate their tempo between fences. Lessons on your horse are encouraged throughout the training period. Limited space is available. Your horse receives 4 training sessions/week, weather-dependent. The horse must come in for an evaluation lesson to determine if suitable for training. "Just started" horses or horses with vices are not accepted into this program. For boarders or horses trailering in, individual training sessions are $45/session.
