Stable Management
on-site Stable Management Consultations: a must for first time barn owners!
Stable management is an often overlooked aspect of barn quality, and issues like barn security and safety should not come second to other concerns. Knowing how to prepare for an emergency and how to prevent accidents can make running a stable much more stress-free. We will schedule an initial visit with you at your barn, go through a checklist of stable management issues, and within one week after the visit, you will receive a written evaluation of your stable. The evaluation will include a review of your level of fire prevention, security, and emergency preparedness as well as pen and fence safety, safety and organization of barn and storage areas, ventilation issues and manure disposal program. In addition, you will receive a written list of possible improvements that should be made. Please note that we are not a contract company and cannot estimate costs for any reconstruction. We service all surrounding counties adjacent to the City of Richmond. Consultation fee is $100 and is due upon initial visit.
